Hey folks. It's Dan.
I started my Substack wine newsletter Eat Drink Cook last year. My Substack covers wine, food, daddy-daughter stories, day in the life nuggets and general just-a-guy-getting-by stuff.
Content is free. Paid subscription = EDC Food & Wine Social Club Membership. Wine tastings, parties and road trips to farms and wineries. Membership is $12/month or $120/year.

In my latest Substack newsletter I got a Mexican Pinot Noir recommendation, a grand meal-deal in the heart of Napa, a Napa Valley hero, pop culture and more.
Read all about it on my Substack newsletter,

When: Saturday, October 10, 4 PM.
Where: Umbel Roots Farm
3900 Sears Point Road, Petaluma
Eat Drink Cook and Umbel Roots Farm present a bring-a-bottle wine dinner AT Umbel Roots where we will dine on food from the farm surrounding us. Everyone brings the best Pinot Noir they can muster, share with everybody, and enjoy the food, cooking and people.
Umbel Roots owner/farmer William Henpenn leads the cooking team. Eat Drink Cook's Dan Dawson and Geremy Ferguson chip in with wood-fired sourdough bread and more.
Entrance fee is your best bottle of Pinot Noir (admits 2) + $75/person. Eat Drink Cook Social Club members pay $50.
